Butterfield shares slip 1.2%

Down day: Butterfield shares were the only ones to trade on the Bermuda Stock Exchange
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index today closed down nine points, or 0.76 per cent, at 1,169.65.
The sole trading of the day was in the Bank of Butterfield, which dropped two cents or 1.2 per cent to $1.62 after 5,000 shares changed hands.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 0.97 points, or 0.06 per cent, at 1,671.47.
