Six stocks advance

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index finished at 1,176.6, up 22.39 points, or 1.9 per cent, after six stocks advanced during the week.

The biggest mover was KeyTech Ltd, with its shares rising $1.05, or 53.8 per cent, to $3 after 500 were traded.

Argus Group improved 32 cents, or 9.7 per cent, to $3.63 after 21,000 shares were exchanged, while HSBC Holdings was up 35 cents, or 5.73 per cent, at $6.45 after 246 shares traded.

Bermuda Aviation Services rose five cents, or 2.2 per cent, to close at $2.30 after 200 shares changed hands, while Ascendant Group improved six cents, or 1.2 per cent, to $5.05 after 1,172 shares were traded.

BF&M shares edged up 10 cents, or 0.6 per cent, to $17.10, after 602 were exchanged.

During the week 26,375 shares of Butterfield Bank were traded, but there was no change to the closing price of $1.62.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the week at 1,684.35, up 2.57 points, or 0.15 per cent.
