Marshall Diel & Myers names four new directors
Bermuda-based law firm, Marshall Diel & Myers Limited, has appointed senior associates Rachael Barritt, Katie Tornari, Adam Richards and Kevin Taylor as directors.The four new directors practise in a broad range of disciplines.Each has more than ten years’ experience in their area of expertise, the firm said.Rachael Barritt and Adam Richards specialise in matrimonial and family law.According to the firm, both Ms Barritt and Mr Richards have extensive advocacy experience and have made numerous appearances at all levels of court, including the Court of Appeal for Bermuda.Mr Taylor’s practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation, including insolvency, shareholder and creditor remedies and employment matters.He represents international and local business clients in complex litigation and advisory matters, and has appeared regularly before all levels of court and administrative tribunals.He is also an accredited mediator.Ms Tornari, says a company spokesperson, has significant experience in handling large insurance coverage disputes in arbitration and, in particular, disputes concerning the Bermuda form.Her practice also focuses on commercial and civil litigation for international and Bermudian clients and she regularly advises on commercial and regulatory, employment and immigration matters.Ms Tornari is also the president of the Bermuda Under 40s Re/Insurance Group.The new directors join existing directors Tim Marshall, Georgia Marshall, Mark Diel and Ronnie Myers.“We are very excited to welcome our new directors to the management of Marshall Diel & Myers Limited,” said Tim Marshall, managing director of Marshall Diel & Myers Limited.“They are committed to the values that are core to our practice and are dedicated to serving our clients.”Mr Marshall also spoke about the firm’s recent move.“We have moved to our fantastic new offices at 31 Reid Street, and the new space along with the new directors are shaping a promising future for Marshall Diel & Myers Limited.”
