New gym to open at Princess

Work out with a view: the Hamilton Princess's new gym will open next month

A new gym is to open at the Hamilton Princess.

Run by international company Exhale, the fitness centre will open its doors at the start of next month.

Monique De La Rosa, Exhale spa director, said: “A lot of planning and vision went into the design and creation of the space.

“We are so proud of its finished look. The Exhale brand is well known around the world and our trainers have undergone coaching with the founders and experts at Exhale in order to bring their established techniques and philosophy to Hamilton Princess and Beach Club.”

The new gym is located on the ground floor of the hotel in the shopping corridor.

It features equipment from TechnoGym, including six treadmills, three cross trainers and stationary bicycles, as well as a locker room and changing room.

It will also feature a regular schedule of fitness classes.

Allan Federer, general manager of the hotel, said: “It’s a modern look and prime location overlooking the harbour and will offer exercisers an inspiring experience.

“Many people have enjoyed the preview group fitness classes we offered over the past few months. In the new fitness centre, participants will have the benefits of individual and group exercise in the beautiful new space.”

The gym will be open Mondays to Fridays from 6am to 9pm and from 8am to 8pm at weekends.

An associated spa is expected to open in July.
