On December 13th, 2002 Nigel Burgess of Rocky Lane West, Crawl, Hamilton Parish, completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering at Howard University. Commencement will take place in May 2003. He is currently pursuing his Masters degree at Howard University in Electrical Engineering. In Nigel's spare time he tutors students at Howard University in Algebra, Chemistry, Physics and Calculus.

Nigel was educated at Francis Patton Primary School and Warwick Academy. He is currently a recipient of Belco's Llewllyn Vorley Engineering Scholarship and Educational Award.

He is the grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Norris Burgess Sr. and Mr. & Mrs. Carl Bobby Raynor.
