The popular Grillin & Chillin event will be held for the fifth year on Saturday at the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo.

Part of the Bermuda Gourmet Getaway — an international showcase of celebrity and local chefs, gourmet food, wine and culinary personalities — which is taking place this week, the event often sells out.

Event producer Michelle Halpin said: "Grillin & Chillin is a definitely one of our most popular events amongst locals and is a sell out every year.

"Stroll through the Aquarium, Museum & Zoo to each Grillin station while you sample fine wines, beers and rums and listen to some of Bermuda's best musicians in the surrounds of our country's natural history.

"This year there will be five grilling stations operated by Celebrity Chefs Rahman 'Rock' Harper (this years Host) and Chef Jason Wilson, alongside local Chefs Shaker Estephane from the Newport Room, John Pritchard from the Café Coco and Rick Bartram from the Seahorse Grill.

"Each of these award winning chefs will prepare their signature dishes right in front of your eyes.

"The dishes will range from barbequed flank steak paninis with roasted shallots; Grilled fresh local fish, pickled celery root, spicy shrimp butter sauce, and parsley croutons; grilled free-range chicken breast, xo sauce with seasonal grilled vegetables and a mango salad; smoked Dark 'n' Stormy spare ribs, salad of goat cheese, hazelnuts and apple with a honey mustard grain dressing; and grilled pork tenderloin with "creamed corn" and onion chutney."

But patrons should save some room for more treats or plan to let out their belts.

"After that great lineup of food you'll be tempted by our dessert station of delectable assorted finger desserts and pastries which will be sure to leave you satisfied," Mrs. Halpin added. "There will be plenty to whet your palette at the various bars ranging from specialty rum creations, beers, four different varietals of wine and of course water and soda.
