Boulevard v Hamilton Parish

Boulevard bought Hamilton Parish back down to earth on Tuesday in the duo's Friendship cup tie, winning 2-1 in a game they should have won by a far greater margain.

The difference in the sides was Takeyhi Walker and his ability to be a match winner in the absence of striker Angelo Simmons.

The side is finally showing signs of life in recent times and should continue their dominance of Parish on Sunday.

Parish entered the week on a high after consecutive wins over top opposition and will try to bounce back with a win over the same side that knocked them out of the Friendship.

Goalkeeper Nigel Burgess will have to be at his shot stopping best in order for his side to have any chance of taking something from the game.

Prediction: Blazers 2-0

Dandy Town– v Somerset Trojans

Dandy Town have not shown any signs of snapping out of the horrendous form they are currently in and won't be shown any mercy by a Trojans side looking sharp at the moment.

The Hornets have lost their last four games and show no signs of getting back on track. Yet a match with one of the sides at the summit may just be the trick and get them back on track.

However, Trojans seem like a real contender, taking points from every match thus far. They still need to get back skipper Jelani Scott who has missed the opening weeks of the season and will only make the side that more dangerous.

Town must also look out for the deadly Adrian Burrows or risk getting run off the pitch.

Prediction: 1-1

PHC v North Village

In the match of the day, it will be part two of the Kyle Lighbourne v Shaun Goater battle, with the first truly living up to the billing.

It was PHC who were cruising at 3-0 until the 'Goat' leapt off the bench and bought his side back from the dead, in a thrilling encounter that finished three apiece.

That was in the Dudley Eve and with league points at stake in this match, it is anyone's guess as to what will happen next in this story.

North Village will be trying to shake off their 1-0 defeat to leaders Boulevard last week and get back in the title race, one that their opponents are right in the thick of.

Prediction: Village 3-2

Southampton Rangers –v Somerset Eagles

Rangers have come into their own as of late and will look to add to Eagles slump with another loss.

Advancing into the next round of the Friendship was a welcome bonus to the club, and are set up for a good week should they get by Eagles.

The visitors have had a tough time of late, with Antwan Russell seemingly going missing for the side in the attacking department.

Kenny Thompson's men looked deadly and efficient in their opening two matches but after a loss to Boulevard it has all turned sour.

They will need to be focused for this one, if not the early points, and position at the top of the table, could all become a distant memory.

Prediction: Rangers 2-1
