Youngsters learnt all about life under the sea on Saturday, as the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda mentoring programme headed to Dolphin Quest.

The 50-person group, comprising children (or “Littles”) along with their mentors or parents (“Bigs”), took part in morning games and activities at the facility in Dockyard.

They also discovered the importance of marine conservation efforts, such as recycling and beach clean-ups, before ending the visit with a free lunch at Bone Fish Bar & Grill.

Patrina O’Connor-Paynter, BBBS Bermuda managing director, said: “The team at Dolphin Quest was very knowledgeable and engaging, to the point that some of our older Littles were asking about job and volunteer opportunities.

“We are grateful to Dolphin Quest and Bone Fish Bar & Grill for providing our Bigs and Littles with this opportunity.”
