Parents have until 4.45pm today to sign up their children for tomorrow’s third Bermuda Pacers Easter Sprint Challenge and charity fundraiser at the National Sports Centre.

Slowly growing in popularity, the sprint challenge will cater to youngsters from ages three to 18 competing in sprint races from 25 to 200 metres.

An added feature this year will be the pre-school relay starting at 2.30pm, a race with four 25-metres legs. There will also be a mascot race.

Last year there were some 130 entries and roughly 120 have signed up for tomorrow’s event, with entries closing today.

Parents can register their children online at www.headcountreg.com or by submitting entry forms to the Sportseller.

Races start at 1pm with the 25 metres races for three-year-olds and the 50 metres races for four and five-year-olds. No entries will be accepted on race day.

The race directors are Sonina Lottimore and Jerome Richards who can be contacted at 331-3313 or 704-1172. Entry fee is $10 and part of the registration fees will go to a youth charity.
