Landscaper wants forum in Bermuda
encouraging a landscaping association and a grounds management association to hold its forum in Bermuda in 1994 or 1995.
Mr. Sousa, who has 17 years experience in the horticulture and landscape business, is convinced Bermuda has the facilities to accommodate the 500 to 1,000 owners and operation managers, who annually attend The American Landscape Contractors Association and Professional Grounds Management Society executive forum.
"I have told the association that Bermuda is the ideal location. The organisers are concerned about the Island's temperature, but I told them about the hotels' temperature guarantee and they showed more interest,'' said Mr.
Sousa.
Recently, Mr. Sousa attended the annual Landscape and Grounds Maintenance conference in Baltimore -- his fifth consecutive year of attendance.
He is a vice-president of the recently formed Bermuda Landscape Contractors Association.
