New restaurant puts wine in the picture
Local wine lovers can now enjoy a new experience with the opening of Tuscany Restaurant?s Gallery Dining Room.
Located in the former Masterworks Gallery below Tuscany Restaurant on Bermuda House Lane, the Dining Room will be holding wine dinners featuring wines from around the world.
?We want to offer customers an alternative way for people to socialise. There are lot of people here who love wine and we wanted to present customers with an new dining experience,? Tuscany owner Guido Esposito said.
He said the Gallery Dining Room is ideal for private functions, Christmas parties or other special events and anybody can make a request to book the room which can hold 40 people.
An international selection of wine will be chosen with Mr. Esposito?s assistant Katarina Decheva and Chef Luca Tomasi will be preparing a variety of haute cuisine.
Mr Esposito said the opening of the Gallery Dining Room is part of an expansion of services provided by Tuscany which along with the owners of Square One now operates the Sushi Dinning Room which opened last week in Square One.
He said he is planning to offer wine tasting evenings in the future where customers will be able to dine with a wine selected to compliment the food.
Starting on October 15 the Gallery Dining Room will be offering a five course dinner and wines will be introduced throughout the evening by Brian Drea of Gosling?s Limited.
