The organisers of a major international conference on insurance-linked securities have appealed for specialist speakers.

ILS Convergence 2016, to be held in November, is looking for specialist speakers in a range of topics for the conference’s Bermuda Shorts segment.

The organisers said that feedback from previous conferences had shown an interest in the areas of transaction case studies, science and modelling and product and technology innovations.

They added that exchange-tradable instruments and indexes, protection gaps and emerging markets, liquidity, cybersecurity, flood and life had also been highlighted in attendee surveys.

A spokesman for ILS Convergence said: “All topics and speakers will be considered for these 12-minute presentations.”
