With the win, Dream Team improved to 7-1 for the season while Tees dropped to 7-2.

Riding the crest of a seven game winning streak, Young Guns (7-3) kept pace with the leaders as they showed little mercy on an out manned Bratt Pack.

SAILING SLG Penny Simmons, for so long the standard-bearer among Bermuda's sailors, showed his skills have not eroded as he recorded two firsts in International One Design action over the weekend.

Simmons, with one and one-half points, has the early lead in the current series for the John Bluck Memorial Trophy with Saturday's races being the first. Martin Siese also had a good day as he trailed in second on each occasion for a cummulative total of four points. Meanwhile, Olympian Peter Bromby, fresh from Barcelona, registered third and fourth place finishes.

There were no surprises among the J24s for the Berry Bowl as Michael Emery continued to dominate, managing a further two victories. Such is his stranglehold that already talk is centred around who will be runner-up.

Kate Williams was impressive in coming in second on both occasions, while a fourth and third gave Terea Chatfield the third overall spot.

A tie exists among the Luders as Dan Bucher and the team of David Summers and Alan Hughes took turns being first and second. The rivals are locked on two-and-three-quarter points with Mark Rowe (six) next in line.

The duo of Tony Knap and John Thompson head the Etchells class competing for the Elvstrom Bowl. Tim Patton lies second and Scott Simmons third.

Remarkable consistency enabled Malcolm Smith and Julie Grayston to win last Friday's Snipe Series off Spanish Point Boat Club.

The pair posted no result lower than second in the five-race series giving them 51 points as they outlasted Richard Feeny and crew (81 ), who were second, followed by Christian Luthi (103 ).

Smith and Grayson accumulated their score by winning the third and fifth races while finishing second in the other three. Feeny won the first two but soon ran into trouble, placing fifth in race three and four, putting him virtually out of contention. Luthi captured a single first-place finish in race four.
