took the life of Ms Peggy Lynn Binns.

The 35-year-old, who worked as a waitress at Pink Beach Club, was riding west on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's Parish on July 20 when another motorcyclist tried to overtake her and the truck she was following.

The overtaking motorcycle collided head on with a car coming the other way, rebounded off the car and struck Ms Binns.

She received serious head injuries in the accident and remained in critical condition at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit until last Friday when she died.

Yesterday, Police said that despite an earlier appeal the truck driver has not been found.

They stressed they did not consider him to be at fault and said it was possible he may not have been aware of the accident behind him.

The truck driver and any other witnesses who have not yet contacted Police are asked to contact P.c. Walter Jackson at 295-0011.
