Veteran journalist on the mend

Veteran correspondent Ira Philip was last night recovering at home after being helped out of the Throne Speech on a stretcher.
The 89-year-old, who was seated for the address, became unwell and was assisted by St John Ambulance staff.
His family said he had become dehydrated, and was well on the mend.
