The following photographs were taken during several Dance Master Classes with students from all of the Island?s dance schools and of all ages conducted by the American Ballet Theatre over the weekend.

The classes were in conjunction the National Dance Foundation?s gala black-tie ?An Evening with Catherine Zeta-Jones? held at the Southampton Princes on Saturday.

Dancers from United Dance Productions, Russian School of Ballet, Somerset School of Dance, and In Motion Dance School took part in the Master Classes.

The ?Evening? was designed to raise start-up funds for the Foundation?s first-ever international summer dance institute, to be launched this summer. More than $100,000 was raised. The Summer Dance Institute will run from August 15-September 2 inclusive.

Auditions for the summer dance programme will be held at the dance studio of Bermuda College on Saturday, March 19. More information about the audition process can be found at www.dancebermuda.org.

Chairman of the National Dance Foundation Don Kramer announced that the Ministry of Community Affairs & Sport would be funding ten full scholarships to the summer programme.

Two qualifying students from each of the island?s five dance schools will be eligible for full scholarships to the international summer dance institute.
