Police reported 22 collisions with no injury over the weekend and 12 resulting in injury. Two people were arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired.

And there were ten break-ins: one in Devonshire, three in Warwick, three in Southampton, one in St. George's, one in Paget, and one in Pembroke.

Two men beat up St. George's woman

A St. George's woman was beaten by two men while walking home from St. David's cricket club on Sunday night.

The 32-year-old victim told Police she had noticed three men sitting on cycles in the parking lot of Great Head Park.

They began sexually harassing her.

After she told them not to talk to her that way, two of the men walked up to her and head butted her, knocking her to the ground.

The men kicked her all over her body and in the head while she was on the ground. They escaped leaving the woman with swelling above her left eye and ear and head pain.

She was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and discharged yesterday morning.

One man is described as about 5ft 9in tall, overweight, and had very dark skin.

He was wearing a black thick goose down jacket with silver or white stripes on the sleeves. The other man had a medium brown complexion and was wearing a scarf or cap and baggy pants.

Intruder was covered with blanket

A man wearing nothing but a pair of shorts and a blanket broke into a Devonshire home on Monday night. The residents of the home on Middle Road told Police that around 4.45 a.m. they awoke on hearing noises.

On investigation a woman in the home saw a black man standing in the bedroom with one foot through the window. She told Police the man escaped when she screamed.

The culprit is described as dark skinned and between 5ft 11in and 6ft.

He was of heavy build and had a dark coloured blanket draped over his head.

He was bare chested with dark coloured short pants and no shoes. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Central CID at 295-0011.
