It is likely there will be large surf as a result of the storm, creating dangerous swimming conditions.

Close on Isaac's heels is Hurricane Joyce, which is a category one storm, and also not expected to adversely impact Bermuda.

Joyce was packing sustained winds of 75 knots with gusts to 90 at the last update.

Joyce is heading in a westerly direction at 12 knots and its closest point of approach to Bermuda will be at three p.m. on Saturday when it will be 1,344 nautical miles away.
