Dear Sir,

Me again, I love to read these advertisements in The Royal Gazette for some of these jobs that require CA, CFA, CPCU, Actuary PHD, MBA, etc.

Yet when I look at the CEOs of many of these banks, utilities, insurance companies and top publicly traded companies in Bermuda, many of these execs have no degrees.

If they do, they don’t put them after their name (professional to do so).

The other issue I have when I see MBA or PHD degrees are the institutions accredited that these people get them from. Harvard, MIT, Tufts, Oxford or Cambridge? Or are their degrees from some “Mickey Mouse” institution out in the boondocks and not worth the paper it is written on.
