Dear Sir,

Regarding the column on undertaking, DUI, crashes/road safety by Jeremy Deacon, how many of these accidents were caused by somebody cellphone driving, or worse text-driving?

That number ought to be high and in the same category as the DUI crashes.

Here’s the flip side: despite the fact text-driving/text-riding often leads to many fatal crashes (and such deaths at times include a small child as well) there’s people who still stupidly do that on the Island today.

There may never be an end to such madness.
