It's all in preparation for the new Millennium.'' The post for a Public Relations Assistant will be responsible for creating and disseminating of information to the public.

The successful candidate would also be responsible for editing, producing, and distributing internal communications like annual reports.

In addition, they must be able to produce "camera ready'' documents for printing, and brief and prepare officers for Press conferences.

All applicants must have at least an associate's degree or equivalent in journalism, communications, public relations or a related field, and must have at least two years' experience in the field.

The closing date for applications for the $43,000 to $46,000 post is April 7.

Antoine Darrell, jailed for three years during Operation Cleansweep, spoke at an anti-drugs forum co-ordinated by Ord Road area residents last week.

And he pledged to help organisers find activities for young people to steer them clear of a life of drugs.

Mr. Darrell, who served 18 months at Westgate, was encouraged to help arrange activities alongside Commonwealth high jump gold medallist Nicky Saunders.

Around 50 people attended the conference at Paget Primary School.

And one man urged parents and teachers to encourage youngsters to watch real-life court cases -- to warn them of the realities of going to jail.

The forum, organised by Richard Powell, was attended by Paget West MP Tim Smith, UBP by-election candidate Patricia Gordon-Pamplin and Works and Engineering Minister Alex Scott.

Travellers can take advantage of midweek and weekend fares to New York of $279 and $309 or Las Vegas of $533 and $563.

They could pay just $258 for a midweek fare to Boston and Baltimore while a weekend fare to Boston rises just $30 to $288.

The fares do not include Bermuda Airport departure tax or other transportation taxes and fees.

POLICE SEEK SUSPECT CRM Police seek suspect Police are looking for a man who allegedly indecently exposed himself to children at Southampton Glebe Primary School on Friday.

Teachers called Police around 1 p.m. after students told them a man exposed himself at the back of the fenced in school playing field.

A search of the surrounding area was made but the culprit -- described as dark brown-skinned, of medium height, and with a pointed goatee beard -- was not found.

The man was wearing cut-off jeans, dark sunglasses, a white helmet, and rode a scooter.
