Bermuda Junior Golf Association got their season underway on the weekend with the feature being Andrew Trott's blistering two-over-par 73 at Port Royal

David James finished two shots behind on 75 while Chris Smith was third on 79.In Group Four, Chris Brough led the way with 76, three shots ahead of Jarryd Dillas while Kwami Caisey was third on 82.

Group Three action, played over nine holes, saw Davin Smith edge out Zachary Simmons and Tim Burland on retrogression, all of them carding 43.

In Group Two at Southampton Princess, Jason Correia led the way with an excellent 43 over 13 holes, three shots ahead of second placed Scott Booth who edged out Andrew Cottingham on retrogression.

In Group One, Brian Smith fired 52 to take overall honours. He finished one shot ahead of Shane Kelly who nipped Gordon Cooper on retrogression.

Juniors should take note of adjusted tee-times at St.George's GC for this weekend (see Scoreboard).
