The Department of Communication and Information (DCI) has announced that Post Office Week will take place this week.

The celebration has been held to coincide with World Post Day on October 9. Bermuda's Post Office Week begins at 10.30 a.m. today at the General Post Office in Hamilton, where Finance Minister Eugene Cox will read a proclamation followed by a speech by Postmaster General George Outerbridge. There will be static displays inside and tours of the various sub-post offices around the Island, as well as give-a-ways, a performance by the Post Office Choir and refreshments.

The week is an opportunity for the community to participate and gain insight into the Post Office and the services it offers.
