Butterfield Bank shares fall 3.6%

The Bank of Butterfield hit a new 52-week low on The Royal Gazette/BSX after its shares dropped seven cents to $1.90.
The bank’s shares — whose previous low was $1.97 over the last year — fell 3.6 per cent after 6,400 shares sold.
Insurance firm Argus Group was up 10 cents (2.6 per cent) to $4 after 100 shares moved.
And fellow insurer BF&M was unchanged at $18 after 7000 shares changed hands.
A total of 13,500 shares worth $138,623 traded.
The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 31.25 points (2.31 per cent), while the BSX Insurance Index ended the day up by 0.05 points at 1575.68.
