West Hamilton weighs on BSX

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index slipped by nearly two points last week, as shares developer West Hamilton Holdings Ltd suffered a more than 14 per cent slide.

The Index closed the five days of trading down 1.86 points, or 0.13 per cent, at 1,361.18. More than 193,700 shares traded and turnover was just shy of $580,000.

West Hamilton fell $1, or 14.3 per cent to close the week on $6, as 2,000 shares changed hands.

Ascendant Group Ltd, parent company of electricity company Belco, fell ten cents, or 1.8 per cent, to close on $5.50, as 7,800 shares traded.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd was the lone domestic-board company to advance, gaining five cents, or 1.7 per cent, to close on $3.

Butterfield Bank, Argus Group Holdings Ltd and BF&M Ltd also traded, but their share prices remained unchanged.
