Police had to struggle to restrain a suspected drunk driver after he turned up at Somerset Police station to report he had crashed his car.
The 51-year-old Sandys Parish man, who smelled of drink, had driven in to a wall near the Police station on Saturday night.
The man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after a struggle with the sergeant and later registered more than double the legal limit drink drive limit.
Police also picked up two suspected impaired drivers over the weekend, arresting a 41-year-old Warwick man at the Esso Mart on Friday night after he had been involved in an accident and a 20-year-old Pembroke man who was picked up for speeding on Trimingham Hill, Paget in the early hours of Saturday morning.
