The 2002 Boundaries Commission presented newly redrawn electoral districts without regard to Parish boundaries, based on a 36 seat House of Assembly with constituencies as equal in size as possible - generally within five percentage points above or below the ideal figure of 1089.

That figure is based on Parliamentary Register figures of 39,198 people eligible to vote in May of this year.
