Man charged in murder of baby Cassidy

A man was remanded in custody yesterday charged with murdering his six-month-old daughter.Karim Shadeed Salahuddin, 25, of Serpentine Road, Pembroke, is charged with murdering Cassidy Salahuddin on May 6.The baby was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital on Monday evening with what Police described as "apparently severe internal injuries" and died on Tuesday morning.

The baby was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital on Monday evening with what Police described as "apparently severe internal injuries" and died on Tuesday morning.
Salahuddin, who was not required to enter a plea, was represented by Larry Scott. The Crown was represented by Director of Public Prosecutions Kulendra Ratneser.
Acting Senior Magistrate Carlisle Greaves remanded Salahuddin in custody until May 21.
