A story in yesterday's paper incorrectly reported that Darnel Devon Kevin Pinkney pleaded guilty to two charges of dangerous driving, causing the death of Zalita Hunt and Kioshi Edwards last April. Pinkney pleaded not guilty to both charges.

In Supreme Court yesterday, a 25-year-old man admitted killing his younger brother.

Jake Wai-zu Spencer, of Hamilton Parish, rejected murder charges but accepted a reduced charge of manslaughter at the monthly arraignments session. Spencer appeared calm and collected.

Chief Justice, the Hon. Mr. Austin Ward remanded him in custody until sentencing next month.

Spencer was charged with the stabbing death of his 23-year-old brother Umoja Spencer following a Court Street brawl last February.

Umoja Spencer, a well-known moto-cross rider, died of his injuries at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital just before 3 a.m. on February 5.

The man accused of an October shoot-out at the Spinning Wheel night club in October that left two teenaged boys with gunshot injuries, also appeared yesterday.

Charles Roger Richardson, 23, of Harrington Sound Road, Smith's Parish pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of 19-year-old Ian DeSilva immons on October 30.

DeSilva immons was shot five times in the chest and neck.

Richardson also denied four further counts of unlawful wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, unlawful wounding, using a firearm and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Pinkney, who is defended by Mr. Archie Warner, will appear for mention next month. Bail was extended.
