The former William Trading Building, which was burned down in a fire five years ago, is to be redeveloped as nine homes and a swimming pool.

Honeyco Limited., care of Woodbourne Associates, applied this week to the Development Applications Board to demolish the existing facility at 8 Fairyland Road, Pembroke, in order to construct nine new dwelling units and a swimming pool.

The facility was formerly the site for Williams Trading Ltd., which burned down on April 11, 1997. Parts of the Bermuda stone structure were believed to be more than 200 years old.
