The Development Applications Board has given final approval for another warehouse to be built on Bakery Lane, Pembroke.

Property management company North Cote Limited said it wanted to develop some of the industrial property it owned in the area.

After a home at #3 Bakery Lane was badly damaged by Hurricane Fabian ? ?its roof completely slipped off?, a company spokesman said ? a chance came up to build a new commercial space.

The new warehouse is currently planned to cover an area of 20,000 square feet.

The company could not say when construction would begin as it already wished to alter plans submitted to Government.

It said the warehouse was a ?speculative build?: it wanted another company to rent the space.
