Shipping giant Oleander made its voyage to Bermuda from Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, on Sunday, bringing 219 containers, 45 of which were refrigerated.

It had miscellaneous Cargo which included three road trailers and three utility trailers. It sailed out yesterday at 8.05 a.m.

Also, its counterpart, Somers Isles arrived in Bermuda yesterday morning with 197 containers, including five refrigerated ones. It will sail out this morning.

Cement hauler Fayal Cement berthed at the Island yesterday around 9 a.m. a part of its normal routine to discharge its load. It’s scheduled to depart sometime this afternoon.

Bermuda Islander will call in to the Island tomorrow, carrying 154 containers, including 24 refrigerated, plus three 45-foot flat-beds and a catamaran.

Cruise ship wise, Azamara Journey shifted to the Hamilton docks on Monday, with 650 passengers on board. It will sail out tomorrow at 3 p.m.

Empress of The Seas pulled in to Hamilton on Monday at 3.50 p.m. and is due to sail out at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning, before its shift to St. George’s. There were no passenger counts available for it.

Norwegian Crown docked in St. George’s yesterday morning before heading to Hamilton today. It will leave Bermuda at noon on Friday. It also had no passenger counts.

Explorer of The Seas sailed in yesterday morning in Hamilton and is due to sail out today at 5 p.m. No other information was available.

In marine incidents, on Saturday at 12.47 p.m. power craft, Jigga, radioed Bermuda Radio for assistance, while it was 1.5 nautical miles north of Chubb Heads Beacon, after its battery failed.

It had two people on board. Bermuda Radio sent out a broadcast of assistance on VHF radio, but received no suitable response. This led to Marine Police being contacted for assistance, who dispatched Rescue II, their resecure boat, which towed the vessel to Dockyard without incident.
