People’s Pharmacy will operate a retail pharmacy for outpatients and the community in the Acute Care Wing of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH) after they unanimously won the bid for the outpatient contract. The current pharmacy in KEMH is run by the Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) who announced last year that they were looking for an external partner for outpatient pharmacy services. This would allow them to increase pharmacy support for inpatient and other KEMH services, without increasing costs.
