Mr. Peter Mellor has become vice president investments, chief investment officer and managing director of Bermuda International Investment Management Ltd.
Immediately before joining the Bank, Mr. Mellor was a founding shareholder and director of Johnson Capital Management Ltd, an investment management company.
From 1983 to 1990, Mr. Mellor was managing director of Beutel Goodman International, another investment management company which he helped form.
Mr. Christian Traber has been appointed manager, corporate communications at the Bank.
Mr. Traber received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in Toronto in 1974.
He has extensive experience in corporate communications, media and public relations as a vice president and partner of Comment Communications, senior consultant of Ogilvy and Mather and as a director of public affairs and corporate communications for American Express Canada.
He has written and supervised television programmes and acted as a speech writer in his capacity as legislative assistant to the Ministry of Culture and Recreation with the Government of Ontario.
Mr. Kenneth Spurling has become the Bank's manager, treasury services.
Immediately before joining the Bank, Mr. Spurling employed by Caisse Centrale Desjardins as vice president, treasury.
From 1983 to 1985, he was president and director of Canabond Corporation in Toronto, a company specialising in Eurobond trading.
Mr. David Nicholl has become assistant manager, information systems. Mr.
Nicholl is a graduate of Belfast College of Business Studies and has knowledge of data administration/resource management.
He was previously employed by the Toronto Dominion Bank as a project manager responsible for developing systems to support treasury and investment banking.
Mr. Michael W. Collins becomes assistant manager, corporate banking. In 1985, Mr. Collins joined J.P. Morgan Commercial Bank Management Programme in New York and rose to the position of vice president in the loan syndications group.
Immediately before joining the Bank of Bermuda, Mr. Collins worked for the Bermuda Commercial Bank as international corporate manager of corporate banking.
Ms Wendy Cummings has become assistant manager, information systems-administration. Before joining the Bank, Ms Cummings was employed by Elbow Beach Hotel as Assistant to the Director of Finance.
Robert Lightbourn Massage Therapist has appointed Miss Pamela Reid as a Medical Massage Therapist, specialising in neuro muscular therapy. Before returning to Bermuda, Miss Reid spent several years at the Neuro Medical Institute in Florida.
NEW THERAPIST -- Ms Pamela Reid has joined Robert Lightbourn Massage Therapist.
