Cara Daniels graduates from Cornell

Cara Daniels is the daughter of Carol-Mae and Al Daniels and the granddaughter of the late Joyce Butterfield. On May 29, 2005 Ms Daniels graduated from Cornell University: College of Human Ecology with a B.S. in Human Development. She concentrated in inequality and social/personality development.

During her matriculation at Cornell, Ms Daniels participated in many student-based organisations such as: Association for Students of Colour, the Black Bio-medical Technological Association and Cornell's Caribbean Students Association. In addition to being an active member in Cornell's minority population, Ms Daniels also participated in three distinct research projects during her last two years at he prestigious institution.

In the upcoming fall semester, she will be pursuing her Ed.M degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. Ms Daniel's ultimate career goal is to receive her doctoral degree in clinical psychology.

Attending the graduation from Bermuda were her aunt Penny-Lynn Paynter, great aunts Elease Suber and Barbara Butterfield, cousin Scawn Paynter, godfathers DeRoy Butterfield and Julian Grant and aunt June Famous.
