MediaHouse delays filing
MediaHouse Limited - the parent company of the Bermuda Sun - has delayed filing its annual report with the Bermuda Stock Exchange for another month.
It is the second time the company, formerly Island Press, has asked for an extension on filling its annual financials for the year ended October 31, 2005.
The company requested the extensions as a result of extensive damage to the offices of its Cayman subsidiary, Caribbean Publishing Company Limited, during Hurricane Ivan last year. Caribbean Publishing Company Limited has since acquired alternative office accommodation in Grand Cayman and continues to trade as normal.
The BSX has also granted MediaHouse a further one month extension to November 30, 2005 for the filing of its interim statements of March 31, 2005.
