Trimingham?s Smith?s will begin to wind down its 163-year-old business today with the launch of final, going out of business discounts on its entire stock of fashion apparel, jewellery and home furnishings.

Company president Lawrence Trimingham anticipates extremely brisk sales because the store will be discounting merchandise that ?never goes on sale?.

The press release did not detail the size of the discounts being offered. The store will not close for good until Wednesday July 27, the day before Cup Match begins.
