The airport terminal had to be evacuated today after a work crew accidentely tripped a fire alarm.

Airport General Manager Aaron Adderley said the alarm was raised just before 2 p.m. and people were brought back by 2.30 p.m.

He said: “It all went very smoothly, I was very pleased with the way it went.”

The incident may have caused slight delays in departures said Mr. Adderley but the lost time could be caught up during those flights.
