United Bermuda Party leader Wayne Furbert has poured cold water on Ewart Brown's Cabinet.

Responding to news of the shake-up last night, he said: "We see the new Cabinet as something not so new.

"We see it as virtually the same people, with the same ideas, sitting in different chairs ? all them trying to shake off a PLP record in power that has failed year after year in its responsibility to help people. Why else would the party have changed its leader?

"The United Bermuda Party will work with the new Government on any programmes or initiatives that we believe will serve the people."

Mr. Furbert concluded: "As Opposition, we will continue to keep them focused on providing Bermuda with good government. We look forward to it."
