BFA unveil new administration

Bermuda Football Association (BFA) president Larry Mussenden yesterday announced his new administration that has inherited the daunting task of "raising the standards of football and the environment" domestically.

Long-serving BFA executive Charles Clarke is the new man in charge of the association's referees' committee while Lee Holder has taken over as league and cup competition chairman.

Cal Blankendal remains in charge of the BFA's youth committee while Mark Trott is still in charge of the technical committee and president Mussenden the association's fund-raising committee.

Gregory Grimes still heads women's football, Shequita Parsons is chairperson of education, Andrew Griffifth finance, Lloyd Smith Beach Leagues and Football Classic committee, Troy Brimmer and Lloyd Smith safety and security, Anthony Francis chairman of the association's website committee while Jon Beard will chair the BFA's club development committee.

"I am pleased to announce the BFA's committee chairs for the upcoming year as we work to implement the Strategic Plan and to raise the standards of football and the environment," Mussenden said in a written statement.

"I am confident that all the chairs will plan, execute and achieve all our aims and objectives. I am also keen that we will meet the needs of the family of football and the wider community.

"All of our committee chairs are tasked with communicating their committee's plans and programmes to the media and the public. And we encourage all the Football Family to work together so that we can develop the game, touch the Island and build a better future."
