A Smith’s man was this morning charged with the premeditated murder of Troy ‘Yankee’ Rawlins.David Cox, 31, from Club Road, was charged in Magistrates’ Court with murder, and using a firearm to commit murder.Both charges are indictable, and as a result, Cox was not required to plea.

Mr. Rawlins, 47, was fatally shot on August 9 in the entrance of the Spinning Wheel nightclub.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner ordered Cox to be held in remand until September 7, when he will return for mention.
