Annete Joyiens, daughter of Ms Sandra Joyiens and Mr. Arnett Joyiens, and Cavon Glasford, son of Mrs. Cynthia Jones and Mr. Denis Glasford, were engaged on Christmas Day 2002. They have planned their wedding for August 3, 2003, in Negril, Jamaica. A host of family and friends are set to join them to share in this joyous occasion. A great marriage is not when the perfect couple come together it is when an imperfect couple learn to enjoy their differences.

Jesse Kirkland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm A. Kirkland of Warwick, will be entering Tabor Academy this autumn as a member of the sophomore class.

Tabor Academy, located in Marion, Ma, offers new students an opportunity to experience life onboard SSV Tabor Boy, Tabor's 90-foot schooner.

Jesse has elected to participate in Tabor's Orientation at Sea programme which brings 12 to 14 students, Tabor faculty and Tabor student crew members together for six days of sailing, exploring and learning along the coast of Maine. This programme exposes incoming students to the ocean around us with a general introduction to oceanography, marine biology and related environmental issues. Students earn a half semester credit in Nautical Science for their participation in this programme.
