Police have identified the man killed in a forklift accident yesterday afternoon as 39-year-old Jonathan Willis.

The British-born Paget resident worked as a mechanic at the S.A.L. site on Wilkinson Quarry.

A Police spokesman said: “Mr. Willis was the victim of an industrial accident at a Coney Island Road, Hamilton Parish construction site where he became trapped under a forklift at around 4 p.m.

“He was subsequently pronounced dead on scene by an on-call physician.”
