Amess to defend title
A final entry of 47- 32 men and 15 ladies - will contest this week's annual Men's and Ladies annual Match Play Championships at Mid Ocean Club.
Men's champion Paul Amess will return to defend his title in a strong field which boasts six players with a 'plus' handicap.
The tournament is Bermuda's oldest golf event, the men's competition now in its 80th year and the ladies tournament is now in its 78th year.
Defending ladies champion Lee-Ann Lewis (Voegl) has confirmed that she will be unable to take part this time around.
