MONDAY, DECEMBER 6: Police this afternoon named a man who was pronounced dead after being found at a house in Pembroke as 35-year-old Jamaican national Hugh Melwood.

As reported by The Royal Gazette this morning, Mr Melwood was found in an unresponsive state in a home on Union Street, on Saturday.

He was taken to King Edward VII?Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. There are no suspicious circumstances.

A?Police spokesman said:?“Inquiries into this matter are ongoing and an autopsy is anticipated in due course.”
