First Atlantic Commerce and CyberRentals have teamed up to help promote Bermuda vacation rental homes on the World Wide Web.

CyberRentals will be providing the website for Island property owners to promote their vacation homes online.

First Atlantic Commerce will be providing the secure Internet connection to allow visitors to the site to make reservation deposits for the rental properties.

"North America has been hearing a lot about Bermuda recently through the marketing effort of Tourism Minister David Allen,'' said CyberRentals co-founder and owner Hunter Melville.

He went on to say: "As a result we have had a number of vacationers requesting information for Bermuda properties.'' "CyberRentals is the ideal opportunity for Bermuda vacation properties to list on the web and market themselves to worldwide audience,'' said First Atlantic Commerce Senior Vice President Andrea Wilson.

"It is great for the properties, and great for Bermuda as a whole, by attracting visitors from around the world,'' she said.

The website, www.cyberrentals.com, allows browsers to choose from thousands of vacation homes, condominiums, chalets, villas and cabins in 43 different countries.

The property owners are able to post rates, availability, amenities and contact information to help vacationers plan their holiday.

As a special promotion for Bermuda property owners, CyberRentals is offering the first month free if registered before April 30.

And during March Bermuda will be featured on the website's home page as the destination of choice.
