The Bermuda Beach Tennis tournament will be a part of the inaugural Triangle of Beach Tennis this summer, the International Tenns Federation (ITF) announced yesterday.

Having previously been a fixed destination on the ITF beach tennis calendar, the governing body has joined the event with New York, which will be the first stop, and Puerto Rico, which is the final stop.

The winners of each tournament will collect $10,000, totalling $30,00 altogether, with ITF ranking points also on the line.

Competition begins in Long Beach, New York, from August 21 to 24, before moving to Horseshoe Bay Beach on the August 26 and 27. The dates for San Juan, Puerto Rico, are August 29 to 31.
