A Hamilton Parish man who crashed his motorcycle on North Shore Road has been arrested for drinking and driving.Just after midnight on Tuesday officers and first responders attended the single-vehicle collision near the junction with East Point Lane in Hamilton Parish, a police spokesman said.“It appears that the motorcycle was being ridden along North Shore Road when it collided with a wall,” the spokesman said.“The rider, a 40-year-old man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.”As of yesterday afternoon, he remained in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.Anyone who saw the crash, or has information about it, should contact Pc Caleb Pierre on 295-0011.
