Almost 50 burglaries were reported over the past two weeks, with the majority taking place in the central parishes, where 21 were recorded.

Pembroke had nine reported burglaries, Paget seven, Devonshire three and the City of Hamilton two.

Both eastern and western parishes had a total of 14 reported burglaries — Sandys two, Southampton three and Warwick seven.

In the east, Smith's reported eight burglaries while Hamilton Parish and St. George's reported three each.

Goods targeted in the 49 robberies from April 28 to May 12 included cash, jewellery, electronic items and food.
