Kyle comes in for cup
line-up for the two-day Western Counties Cup final against Somerset Bridge at Southampton Oval starting today.
Lightbourne comes into the team as a replacement for young all-rounder Janeiro Tucker who early this week left for school in the United States.
It will be the first cricket match of the season for the tall left-hander who will soon be playing professional soccer in England with the Third Division side Scarborough.
Lightbourne, who is home awaiting papers to arrive for a work permit in England, will team up with Southampton's two other opening bowlers Gary Williams and Quinton Burch to form a formidable pace attack -- one that is bound to pose severe problems for their opponents.
It remains to be seen who skipper Ricky Brangman goes with as the two opening bowlers, whether he goes with teenager Williams and Burch who have been effective this season or if Lightbourne gets the nod to team up with Williams.
Other than the single addition of Lightbourne, Southampton have decided to go with the team that handed Willow Cuts a decisive defeat in the previous round.
Somerset Bridge have made the changes which were rumoured they were considering, bringing in two guest players from Western Stars for their huge challenge. Both Andre Manders and Jeff Richardson should strengthen their weak batting line-up while the former's presence should also boost their spin attack.
David (Hixbie) Jones passed two fitness tests earlier in the week and got the thumbs up from club selectors to lead the team.

St. George's Community Club won their first tour match in Canada yesterday when they edged a Toronto School Select by one run at Ross Lord Park in Toronto. Scores: St. George's 93, Toronto 92.
Travis Smith turned in an outstanding all-round performance for the local team. He was top scorer with 19, doing well to stay at the crease for 83 minutes, and then took three wickets for only four runs off five overs and three maidens with this off-spin bowling.
It was Smith and Clevon Hill who tore Toronto apart when they were 83-3 and seemingly heading to an easy win. Hill finished with four for 24.
Chaka DeSilva was the other top bat for St. George's with 16 while U-Roy Fox hit 13. Smith and DeSilva put on 25 for the fifth wicket.
The team plays its last game against another Toronto Select on Monday and returns home on Wednesday.
Devonshire Rec. won their third straight game in England yesterday when they beat Old Hill CC by four wickets, thanks to some good batting by Albert Steede (67) and Donald Norford (63).
Scores: Old Hill 227-8 (Wasim Khan 63, Erskine Smith 2-33, Lloyd Morrison 2-43); Devonshire Rec. 232-6.
